Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi Hükümet Liderlik Okulu (HLO) bünyesinde Siyaset Okulu, Global Liderlik Forumu ve “Ortadoğu Araştırmaları”, Global Liderlik Forumu ve “Amerikan Araştırmaları - Küresel Güç Politikaları”, Diplomat Okulu sertifika programlarını burslu tamamladı. 2010'da Birleşmiş Milletler (UN) İstanbul Somali Konferansına ve 2011'de Birleşmiş Milletler (UN) İstanbul 4. En Az Gelişmiş Ülkeler (UNLDC - IV) konferansına davet edildi ve katıldı. 2011'de İstanbul'da 2011'de Washington, D.C. merkezli Atlantik Konseyi (ACUS) tarafından gerçekleştirilen Karadeniz Enerji ve Ekonomik Forumu'na (BSEEF) katıldı. 2011'de ilk kez gerçekleştirilen Değişim Liderleri Zirvesi ve İstanbul Dünya Politik Forumu'na katıldı.

2 Mart 2010 tarihinde, Ankara merkezli Genç Liderler Derneği (GLD) tarafından sekiz ayrı kategoride 4. kez gerçekleştirilen 2009 Yılının Genç Liderleri Yarışmasında ön elemeyi geçerek Yılın Genç Girişimcisi Ödülü’ne aday gösterildi ve 15 Ocak-5 Şubat 2010 tarihleri arasında yapılan kamuoyu oylamasında dünyada 64 ülkeden, Türkiye’de 45 ilden kullanılan toplam 25.434 oyun 6045'ini alarak Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel’de gerçekleşen törenle ödüle layık görülerek birinci seçildi.

19 Ekim 2007 tarihinde, Dünya Genç Liderler ve Girişimciler Federasyonu olan Junior Chamber International Genç Liderler ve Girişimciler (JCI) Derneği Türkiye tarafından 13. kez gerçekleştirilen 2007 - TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Turkey) “Türkiye’nin On Başarılı Genci” yarışmasında değişime liderlik ederek sosyal sorumluluk projelerine olan katkılarından dolayı İstanbul İş Kuleleri İş Sanat Kültür Merkezi’nde gerçekleşen törenle ödüle layık görülerek JCI Senato Ödülü birincisi seçildi.

3 Mayıs 2005 tarihinde, Dünya Bankası (World Bank) tarafından ülkemizde ilk kez gerçekleştirilen “Avrupa Yolunda Sosyal İlerleme ve Katılım” (Social Inclusion and Progress on the way to Europe) temalı 2005 - Türkiye Yaratıcı Kalkınma Fikirleri Proje Yarışması’nda (Development Marketplace - DM2005, The Innovation Marketplace - Innovative Development Ideas Competition), engellilere yönelik eğitim ve istihdam amaçlı sosyal sorumluluk projelerinden dolayı finalist seçilerek Ankara ODTÜ Kültür ve Kongre Merkezi’nde gerçekleşen törenle ödüle layık görüldü.

Dünya Bankası tarafından TOBB, Avrupa Komisyonu, T.C.Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı, Açık Toplum Enstitüsü, ODTÜ, NTV, Hürriyet İK, Yenibiris.com, İnfomag, Philips, Microsoft, MNG Kargo ve Wall Street Institute kuruluşlarının sponsorluğunda 17 Kasım 2004-3 Mayıs 2005 tarihleri arasında düzenlenen ulusal yarışmaya Türkiye genelinden 765 proje katıldı.ODTÜ’den 65 ve Dünya Bankası’ndan 3 uzman tarafından oluşturulan Değerlendirme Komitesi’nin titiz incelemesi sonucu 127 proje yarı finale kaldıktan sonra 15 uzman tarafından yapılan 2.değerlendirmeyi de geçen ve jüri tarafından seçilen 35 proje ile birlikte finalist olarak ödül aldı.

T.C. Başbakanlığı'nın 2005 yılını "Özürlüler İstihdam Yılı" olarak ilan etmesi ilgili projenin önemini arttırmıştır.Tamamen toplum yararına ve sosyal içerikli, yinelenebilir ve sürdürülebilir projelerde; bedensel ve görme engellilere eğitim verilerek başkalarına bağımlı olmadan ticari kazanç elde etmelerinin, istihdam arttırıcı çözüm yollarının ve sosyal hayata katılımlarının sağlanması esas hedef alınmıştır.İlgili dönemde bu konuda yoğun bir kamuoyu oluşturmuştur.

1-3 Eylül 2006 tarihlerinde, T.C. Başbakanlık Özürlüler İdaresi Başkanlığı (ÖZİDA) himayesinde İstanbul Harbiye Askeri Müze ve Kültür Sitesi’nde düzenlenen REHA CARE İstanbul 3. Uluslararası Rehabilitasyon ve Bakım Günleri Fuarında Etkinlik Koordinatörü olarak aktif katkılarından dolayı teşekküre layık görüldü.

31 Mayıs 2005 tarihinde, şuan görevde olan Ordu Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası (OTSO) Başkanı ile Ordu Üniversitesi Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Dekanı'nın ortak teklifi, dönemin Ordu İl Kültür ve Turizm Müdürü’nün önerisi ve dönemin Ordu Valisi’nin oluru ile Ordu İli Gönüllü Turizm Elçileri Grubu Proje Hazırlama Komisyonu Üyesi seçildi.

6-11 Eylül 2005 tarihlerinde, Orta Karadeniz Kültürü Sempozyumu’na yaptığı katkılardan dolayı Düzenleme Heyeti Başkanlığı tarafından teşekküre layık görüldü.

2 Haziran 2006 tarihinde, T.C.Niğde İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü ve JCI Avrasya işbirliğiyle “Eğitime % 100 Destek” kapsamında kitap bağışı projesinde liderlik yaptı.

2007 Eylül ayında Starbucks Coffee Türkiye “Kardeş Okullar” projesine kitap ve kırtasiye malzemesi bağışı katkılarından dolayı Starbucks Coffee Türkiye tarafından teşekküre layık görüldü.

12 Mart 2007 tarihinde, JCI Avrasya ve Lilly İlaç işbirliğiyle Dr.Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’ne onkoloji hastalarının tedavisinde kullanılmak üzere ilaç bağışı projesinde liderlik yaptı.

13-18 Mayıs 2009 tarihlerinde, First Lego Ligi 5.Türkiye Robotik Turnuvaları Türkiye Şampiyonu ve ABD’nin Atlanta şehrinde düzenlenen First Lego Ligi Dünya Turnuvası 4. sü Ordu Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi (BİLSEM) YOROZ takımı ile Atlanta, Georgia Türk-Amerikan Kültür Derneği (TACAGA) arasında bağlantı sağlayarak dostluk köprüsünün kurulmasını sağlamıştır.

2010 Mart ayında, Pendik Ordulular Derneği Üniversiteliler Kulübü (UNIPODER) Okullarımıza Destek Projesi kapsamında Ordu’nun Mesudiye İlçesi Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne ihtiyaç sahibi okullar için Türk Henkel tarafından verilen beş adet kullanılmış bilgisayar bağışına aracılık yapmıştır.

HSM Global tarafından ABD, New York şehrinde gerçekleştirilen 2007 - Dünya İş Forumu’nun (World Business Forum) tanıtılmasına Yetkili Temsilci olarak aktif katkılarından dolayı MBH Group Türkiye tarafından teşekküre layık görüldü.

16 Aralık 2007 tarihinde, Adapazarı Alternatif Yaşam Derneği tarafından konuşmacı olarak davet edildi ve teşekküre layık görüldü.

22 Mart 2008 tarihinde, İTO’da Marmara Çalışanlar Federasyonu ve İstanbul Ticaret Odası tarafından ortaklaşa gerçekleştirilen “Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk” konferansı’nda konuşmacı olarak davet edildi ve teşekküre layık görüldü.

3-6 Kasım 2008 tarihlerinde, Malezya Olimpiyat Komitesi (OCM) tarafından Uluslararası Olimpiyat Komitesi (IOC) ve IOC Herkes İçin Spor Komisyonu işbirliği ile Genting Highlands, Malezya’da gerçekleştirilen "Sport for All - for Life" ana temalı sertifikalı 12.Dünya Herkes İçin Spor Kongresine katıldı.

4-5 Aralık 2008 tarihlerinde Kıbrıs Türk Futbol Federasyonu tarafından Yakın Doğu Üniversitesi (NEU) işbirliği ile Lefkoşa’da gerçekleşen KKTC 1.Futbol ve Bilim Şura’sında Futbolda Sürdürülebilir Mali Yapı Komisyonu Üyesi olarak katkılarından ve katılımından dolayı KTFF Yönetim Kurulu tarafından teşekküre layık görüldü.

Tarkan Deniz was born in Ordu in 1975.He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Faculty of Economics at Anatolian University.He completed the certificate programs of School of Politics, Global Leadership Forum “Middle East Studies” and Global Leadership Forum “American Studies”, “Global Power Policies”, School of Diplomat with scholarship of success within the body of Bahçesehir University School of Government and Leadership. He completed the certificate program of Okan University School of Politics certificate programme.

He was invited and attended to UN Somalia Conference, the Fourth UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries (UNLDC-IV), organized by United Nations, Atlantic Council (ACUS) Black Sea Energy and Economic Forum (BSEEF) in 2010 and 2011 in Istanbul respectively.

By passing the pre-selection in Young Leaders of 2009 Competition, organized at 8 different categories by the Young Leaders Association (GLD), based in Ankara, for the 4th time in March 02, 2010, he was nominated for The Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and by getting 6045 of the total 25.434 votes, casted in 64 countries worldwide and in 45 provinces in Turkey in the public opinion poll, held between January 15th – February 5th, 2010, he won the Award with a ceremony, organized in Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel.

In 2007-TOYP, The Outstanding Young Persons of Turkey competition, organized for 13th time by Junior Chamber International Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs (JCI) Association Turkey, a Worldwide Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs, he won JCI Senate Award in October 19th, 2007 for his contributions to social responsibility projects by leading the change with a ceremony, held in Istanbul Is Kuleleri Is Sanat Cultural Center.

He was selected as a finalist in the Development Marketplace-DM2005, Turkey The Innovation Marketplace - Innovative Development Ideas Project Competition with a theme of Social Inclusion and Progress on the way to Europe that was organized by the World Bank for the first time in our country due to his social responsibility projects, aiming training and employment of disabled people and won the award with a ceremony, organized in Ankara METU Culture and Congress Centre in May 3rd, 2005.

765 projects attended to the national competition, which was organized between the dates of November 17th, 2004 - May 3rd, 2005 by World Bank in the sponsorship of institutes of TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), European Commission, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Turkey, Open Society Institute (OSI), METU, NTV, Hurriyet IK Newspaper (HR), Yenibiris.com, Infomag Magazine, Philips, Microsoft, MNG Cargo and Wall Street Institute (WSI) Language Schools. After 127 projects got to the semi-finals as a result of precise evaluation of Evaluation Committee, formed by 65 experts from METU and 3 experts from World Bank, he passed the 2nd evaluation, carried out by 15 experts and won an award as a finalist together with 35 projects, selected by the grand jury.

Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry's announcement of the year 2005 as "Year for the Employment of Disabled Persons" increased the importance of relevant project. In repeatable and sustainable projects, totally for the benefit of the society with social messages; by training physically handicapped and visually handicapped people, it was basically targeted that they gained commercial earnings without depending on others and that ways of solutions to increase employment and their participation to social life were provided. In the relevant period, he formed public opinion intensely in this subject.

His projects for Physically and Visually Handicapped People and his activities regarding the promotion of our country were regarded as feasible, repeatable and sustainable and also as models which were beneficial for the society by many institutions like particularly Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Administration for Disabled People and General Directorates of some Ministries, public and private sector and non-governmental organizations (TOBB, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Trade, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Republic of Turkey Governorship of Ordu, Six Dots Foundation for the Blinds, Turkey Computer Engineers and Programmers Association, Bugün Newspaper, Yenibiris.com, KurumsalSosyal.com, Junior Chamber International Turkey and JCI Eurasia, ISKUR Sisli Branch, Sisli Municipality, Fortune Consultancy, Netron Technology Institute, British Education Bureau, TUBITAK Bilgeev, Mahiralp Design, Uniaktivite.net, Bilkom, Chip Magazine, Kuzey Noktasi Dergisi (North Point Journal), Creathane Agency, ENAT- European Network for Accessible Tourism, National Braille Press) and some institutions became sponsor for his projects and activities and he won recognition in writing and received promotion support.

Due to his active contributions during REHA CARE Istanbul 3rd International Rehabilitation and Care Days Exhibition, organized in Istanbul Harbiye Military Museum and Culture Site in the care of Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Administration for Disabled People (OZIDA) between the dates of 1st and 3rd of September, 2006 as Activity Coordinator, he was deemed worthy of acknowledgement.

In May 31, 2005, he was chosen as a Member of Project Preparation Commission of Voluntary Tourism Ambassadors of Ordu Province with the common proposal of the Ordu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO)’s Chairman, currently in office, and the Dean of Faculty of Science and Letters, Ordu University and Ordu Province Culture and Tourism Director of that time and the approval of Ordu Governor of that time.

He was deemed worthy of acknowledgement by Coordinate Committee Directorate due to his contributions to the Middle Black Sea Region Culture Symposium between the dates of 6th and 11th September, 2005.

In June 2nd, 2006, he lead a book donation project in the scope of “100% Support to Education” with the cooperation of Republic of Turkey Nigde Provincial Directorate for National Education and JCI Eurasia.

In September 2007, he deemed worthy of acknowledgement by Starbucks Coffee Turkey due to his contributions with regard to book and stationary donation to Starbucks Coffee Turkey "Sister Schools" project.

In March 12, 2007, he leaded the project of medicine donation to Dr.Lutfi Kirdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital to be used in the treatment of oncology patients with the cooperation of JCI Eurasia and Lilly Pharmaceuticals.

Between the dates of 13-18 May 2009, he established connection between Ordu Science and Art Center (BILSEM) YOROZ team which was Turkish Champion of First Lego League 5th Turkey Robotics Tournaments and the 4th of First Lego League World Tournament, organized in the City of Atlanta in the USA and Turkish-American Cultural Association of Georgia (TACAGA) and he provided that a bridge of friendship was founded between them.

In March 2010, he arbitrated the donation of five units of used computers, given by Turkish Henkel, to National Education Directorate of Mesudiye District of Ordu to be distributed to schools which needed them in the scope of The Support for Our Schools Project of Pendik Association of Ordu Citizens, University Students Club (UNIPODER).

He deemed worthy of acknowledgement by MBH Group Turkey due to his active contributions to the promotion of 2007-World Business Forum which was organized in New York, USA by HSM Global as Authorized Representative.

In December 16, 2007, he was invited as a keynote speaker by Adapazari based Alternative Life Association and he deemed worthy of acknowledgement.

In March 22, 2008, he was invited as a keynote speaker to “Corporate Social Responsibility” conference, organized in ITO collectively by Marmara Employees Federation and Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and he deemed worthy of acknowledgement.

Between the dates of November 3rd and 6th, 2008, he attended certified 12th World Sport for All Congress with the main theme of "Sport for All - for Life", organized in Genting Highlands, Malaysia by Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) with the cooperation of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and IOC Sport for All Commission.

Between the dates of December 4th and 5th, 2008, he was deemed worthy of acknowledgement for his contributions and attendance as a Member of the Commission of Sustainable Financial Structure in Football in KKTC 1st Football and Science Council, held in Nicosia by the Cyprus Turkish Football Federation (KTFF) in cooperation with Near East University (NEU) by CTFF Board of Management.
